CAPA 2018 Annual Review now available
The 2018 CAPA annual review is now available on the CAPA website.
Themed ‘Looking to the Future’, it celebrates CAPA’s ‘new lifecycle’ by envisioning the organisation’s future and planning towards it.
CAPA President, Manoj Fadnis, is excited with the possibilities and opportunities that it will bring. “Our success and ability to deliver value to our members has been constrained by limited resources in the recent years. Now that CAPA is better established, new opportunities were pursued with the hopes that it will lead the organisation to deliver better value, and this included doubling the staff resources in the CAPA Secretariat. I am honoured to be part of this organisation and to lead it during this exciting period,” he said.
CAPA Chief Executive, Brian Blood, was keen to see the organisation make a difference in the accountancy profession, and viewed 2018 as a good year to initiate this change. “As the world and the profession face changes in many ways, it is important for CAPA to be prepared for the challenges that will come our way. Seeing this, the CAPA Board gathered in a retreat to plan for the organisation’s future. A ‘Strategic Plan – Towards 2025’ was drawn up and new initiatives from the plan were implemented where applicable. One of it was the decision to rename CAPA’s ‘annual report’ as ‘annual review’ and this change is immediately reflected in this 2018 document,” he commented.
