In partnership with IFAC, CAPA is proud to co-host this webinar with an Asia-Pacific focus with the ASEAN Federation of Accountants (AFA) and the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA).
The IFAC PAO Digital Readiness Assessment Tool (the Tool) was launched in November 2020 by IFAC in partnership with cloudThing, to help and support IFAC member organisations or Professional Accountancy Organisations (PAOs) on their digital journey.
This webinar is held to support PAOs in the Asia-Pacific region featuring speakers representing IFAC, CAPA. AFA, SAFA, and cloudThing; and will be followed by a live Q&A.
This event is open to the leadership and staff of PAOs. In particular, it would be beneficial for decision-makers and those serving in technology related roles.
We look forward to hosting this event and sharing further insight on the Tool, its purpose, and to answer your questions!

CAPA members, the Board and working committees normally meet in-person 2-3 times per year. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all in-person meetings for 2020 to date have been cancelled.
Since the onset of the pandemic, the CAPA Board and committees have been meeting online to progress necessary activities, as did the Audit and Ethics Groups, which have always planned to meet via a virtual platform.
The exact dates and timings of next meetings are discussed at the end of each (previous) meeting. The specific timing is dictated by a range of matters, including governance requirements or when approval, advice or input is required for ongoing initiatives, projects and publications.
As a general guide, we have hosted the following minimum number of virtual meetings, and approximate dates, for all of 2020:
- General meetings: the AGM (August) and EGM (November/December)
- Board: 2-3 (as required)
- Governance & Audit Committee: 2 (July and October)
- Member Development Committee and Public Sector FM Committee: 2 each (August/September and October/November)
- Audit and Ethics Groups: 2 each (August and October)
This page will be updated if the dates change.
